Export Cargo information for Exports to: St Helena Exports and Exports via South African and Namibian Ports to St Helena and Ascension Island
Northbound Cargo to UK
All cargo from Ascension and St Helena Island will be shipped to the UK in containers.
Cargo that is too large for containers must be referred to the Port Agent at ascension or St Helena or to Andrew Weir Shipping - London prior to loading on-board the RMS. This requirement is to ensure that such cargo can move to the UK once the RMS has discharged it.
All import Break Bulk / Groupage Cargo will be discharged from containers at Portland Port. Prior to collecting cargo from Portland, please ensure that it is Customs Cleared and that ALL charges due have been paid.
Albion Shipping Services (details below) at Portland can quote you and assist in Customs Clearance and if required they can quote and arrange delivery of cargo.
Due to UK Customs clearance being electronic you will need to appoint a Freight Forwarder to handle this requirement.
